ORGANIC BODIES

I call “organic bodies” certain temporary bodies, which appear by connecting mentally to a particular matter or system existing in the body, and by transferring the specific organic state (texture, characteristics, and  properties) of this system or matter into the whole body.  (For example the whole body can take the organic state of the skeleton, or of the muscles, or of the cells...)

In opposition to „physicalities“ or „body qualities“ which can be reinvented in infinite amount by using our imagination, the temporary bodies are limited to the material anatomy of our bodies.

(At the moment I discovered 6 different organic bodies. )

THE FLUID BODY

The Fluid Body defines our body as liquid matter, which is in constant fluid motion. To activate the Fluid Body, connect yourself to the flow of your blood, and to the idea that your body is made of at least 70 percent of water.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the fluid body:

continuous, floating, legato, flowing, melting, flexible, smooth, round,...

THE SOLID BODY

The Solid Body defines our body as an object and an architecture, as a formal and mechanical structure.

To activate your Solid Body, connect yourself to the hard part of your bone structure. The Solid Body is articulated in the same way as our skeleton.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the Solid Body:

Articulated, mechanical, straight, clear, cold, segmented, linear, staccato, robotic, stable, formal, angular...

THE POROUS BODY

The Porous Body defines our body as an assembly of cells.

To connect with the Porous Body we need to think of the body not as one solid entity but as an assembly of elements which include the molecules building our cells, but also the space between those molecules, the air and the other living organisms, as well as all the other matter that builds the body. The Porous Body has no clear borders between “inside” and “outside”.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the Porous Body:

Permeable, light, cellular, scattered, expanding, floating, dissolving, transparent, segmented, connected...

THE COMPACT BODY

The Compact Body is an organic body created by the activation of a temporary organ called the “Densifyer”. The “Densifyer” appears when pulling mentally all cells towards the center of the body, activating the core and the inner muscles of the body.

This organ has the shape of a drop, and feels like a concentration of warm energy in the abdomen, pulling towards inside. The Compact Body creates a state of stability and control of all postures and movements.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the compact body:

Density, tension, energy, quickness, immobility, sharpness, precision, control, strength, unity…

THE MUSCULAR BODY

The Muscular Body consists of all the muscles of our body, including the visceral muscles. The Muscular Body can transform the body into a pulsing, malleable, contracting matter.

The Muscular Body gets activated when bringing the awareness on the constant contracting and stretching of the inner and outer muscles.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the Muscular Body:

Juicy, emotional, warm, contracting, pulsing, pumping, bouncy, tensed, elastic, undulating, rolling…

THE ELECTRIC BODY

The Electric Body is an organic body that exists when connecting to all our senses. It is linked to our nervous system. The Electric Body is a body receiving and sending information, it is a reacting body. The Electric Body can creates a state of  hypersensitivity, sensing and responding to all kinds of stimuli.

Movement patterns and qualities linked to the Electric Body:

Emotionality, un-controlness, quick changements, contrasts, reactiveness, charge, nervousness, instinct, fragility, tension, impulses…
